Got my first film developed today from my Lomo SuperSampler. It takes four shots on one print, am pretty chauffed with how some of them came out actually! There’s a few pictures from the West End Festival last weekend, and our trip to Troon last Monday. Hopefully will get a chance to play lots with it in Uganda!

A couple of weekends ago, I was in Glencoe, in the Scottish Highlands, celebrating Reubens 21st birthday. I had a fantastic weekend, full of music, food, and laughter. There was lots of musical jamming, from traditional to sing-alongs – worryingly we failed to find a happy song which everyone knew! Mikey sung a few of his songs – he’s fantastic! Reubens mum cooked for us all weekend, and made a feast for us on Saturday night. Saturday we walked around a big mountain too – along Glen Coe and back down Glen Etive. Very beautiful, especially as the weather stayed nice the whole time we were out walking. It was stunning!
Some visual documentation…

On Saturday night a few friends came round to mine for some pizza, desserts and so on. I had a really lovely evening spending time with friends, being reminded that I have some of the most incredible friends around. There was one point I was kinda just sitting in a corner taking it all in: to my right, a conversation on missions and Eastern Europe/Russia; straight in front of me, a conversation that I didn’t understand about philosophy; to my left, Fran geeking out with my camera, and more general conversations.

Having Fran around allowed me some more freedom to play with the camera stuff. We tried some light painting: a lot of fun! We’re both taking some tripods and camera kit to Glencoe next weekend, and may have to do some more light painting experimentation!
