God-sized Dreams

“What sets lion chasers apart isn’t the outcome. It’s the courage to chase God-sized dreams. Lion chasers don’t let their fears or doubts keep them from doing what God has called them to do.”

A review is coming soon!

But for now…

I love that quote! “The courage to chase God-sized dreams”. Recently God has been revealing more of what I’m supposed to be doing in relation to my Africa passion. It scares me a little bit to be honest! But maybe it’s supposed to. Mark also comments in the book that maybe God wants to stack the odds against us, so that he can work a miracle and get all the glory. What a superb thought. Today I pray for courage to live my dreams, not for better odds but for greater faith!

  1. If you want to understand God sized dreams you should examine a grain of rice and a grain of wheat
Billions of people depend on them for food. I suppose what I’m trying to say
is that God doesn’t always want or need us to do big things .

  2. True Jimmy… I guess what I take from that quote is that my ‘lion’, my God-sized dream, may only be a mouse to you, and vice versa. I’m not saying we all need to go sell our houses and move to China (ie a ‘big’ thing) but that maybe all it takes is stopping to talk to the Big Issue seller you walk past everyday… but maybe thats your lion, your fear? Follow me?

(btw, take on board your remark about the comments page, will see what I can do!)

  3. Thank you Emma, you remind me of me when I was 19 . I don’t know if that’s a compliment or not
    I was saved when I was 19 .
