Yesterday I received a lovely little email from Vicky Beeching with a pre-release of her new EP, which I’ve been listening to a lot today. In my opinion, it’s a slight change of direction that really suits her. Very guitar driven as usual, but more electric. The EP is out on Feb 9th.

I’m really looking forward to taking some time over the next week to reflect & celebrate 2009, and dream about what 2010 will hold, but for now I thought I’d leave you with a song for the new year. I love the hope and realism in it, in knowing that the hard stuff I wrestled with in 2009 is still going to be here this year, but that there is so much beauty and potential in each new day too.
