Finally got around to watching all of the iPhone OS 3.0 keynote this afternoon… yes, I’m that geeky…
I’d heard bits and pieces from it, and got excited as it seemed to be addressing some of the issues I have with the iPhone…
- Ability to delete & forward individual text messages
- VCard contact support
- Cut, copy & paste
- MMS
- Much better search capabilities
- Ability to read & create email in landscape
Shame it’s going to be the summer before it’s available, but it looks like it will make my iPhone experience much much better. How about you, what do you think? What’s still missing?
funny, I watched that this afternoon as well, lol, before you even mentioned it on twitter, strange… Well the iPhone now has one of the BIG things that kept me from buying one, MMS, so I reckon that I will probably buy one when my contract is up at the end of the year…
What’s missing for me? Several hundred pounds to buy one 🙂
1) Making sure text messages arrive in a timely manner, date stamped!
2) Customisable dictionary – less American
3) being able to enable and de-enable shuffle on a playlist
Hrmm…. taking care of those would solve most of my irritations….
D
@ Connor: yea I remember your gripe being MMS, which to be honest hasnt really bothered me much until recently.
@ Graeme: fair play… there are always savings and stuff…!
@ Douglas: I’ve been having trouble with texts arriving late as well… flippin’ annoying! Also, I’m pretty sure you can have shuffle on playlists – mine lets me use the random/shuffle thing at least?
Haha, I’d prefer at this point in time to be putting money INTO my savings though 🙂
